The 160 Wall · smsinnovates.com and the Android app · Updated 3 October 2026
Short version: there are no accounts, and everything you post stays on your own phone. We don't collect, sell or share your ideas.
Your ideas, the tag you choose, the name you post under, your answers to Today's 160, your reactions, your badges and stats, and your sound and vibration settings are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never sent to our servers. Clearing the app's or browser's site data deletes them, and we can't recover them unless you saved a backup.
Save backup creates a file on your phone with your ideas, name and badges. It's saved wherever your phone keeps downloads, and we never see it. Restore backup reads a file you pick, on your phone only. Anyone you give a backup file to can read your ideas, so keep it somewhere private.
Text opens your phone's messaging app with the idea filled in. Nothing is sent unless you send it yourself. Copy puts the idea on your clipboard. Share turns the idea into an image on your phone and opens your phone's share menu; nothing leaves your phone unless you pick an app to send it to. The app never reads your messages, contacts or clipboard.
The score, the jokes and the Squeeze it rewrite are worked out on your phone as you type. Your words are not sent anywhere to do this.
No name, email, phone number, location, contacts, analytics or advertising IDs. The app has no ads and no tracking.
The company that hosts smsinnovates.com may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) for security. We don't use these to identify anyone.
The 160 Wall is not directed at children under 13.
If we add features that change this, such as a shared public wall, we'll update this page and its date before they go live.
